Christmas 2012

Christmas time is truly a wonderful time of year.  We are so happy to celebrate Jesus's birth and explain this time of year to our boys and reflect on how blessed we are.

Here is how our holidays went:
    **First off--Cooper is deathly afraid of Santa and dreaded this holiday approaching!  I assured him he would not have to talk to Santa.  He reminded me of this promise daily.
  **Ryder follows Cooper and too is not a fan of Santa.  He didn't really get the hang of Christmas presents last year but this year he has it all figured out!!  He did not need any help opening gifts!  He also wasn't a fan of sharing his gifts.  I guess that goes along with being 2!
  **We celebrated Christmas in Hutchinson with my Dad's family before Christmas.  It was fun to see everyone.

  **Then we celebrated in McPherson.  So fun to watch my cousin's kids play with my boys.  Reminds me of when I was young.  

  **Later that night we opened gifts with my parents.  Ryder loved his train set and kept everyone busy putting it together.  Cooper had his new tools and was fixing everything!

It was so nice to spend time with my family over the holidays.  I wish they all lived closer but they are only a car drive away!!
