In September Cooper and I went to the Lion King in Wichita. We went with my parents, Linda, David, and Hannah Roemer. We had such a great time. The music was amazing and the characters were so real. Many of the animals were puppets and the people were so talented. A once in a lifetime experience!
Cooper had been talking about going to the show since the commercials started on TV. He was so excited I didn't have the heart to tell him he wasn't going! I said Cooper was not going because of the price of the tickets. I wasn't sure he would stay awake or be able to sit during the whole show. Then last minute we found out Linda had an extra ticket so rather than wasting a ticket Cooper was able to go. He never knew he was not in the original plan!!
He sat on my lap and was glued as the animals started coming onto the stage. It was so fun to watch his face light up as he watched. I am so glad he was able to go with us. I enjoy the times when it is just Cooper and I such a great date!!
