Funny Things to Remember

Ryder
He is coming to life!!  He loves talking to people now and is so animated but you can't understand a word.  It amazes me how he figures out new things daily.  He may not be able to fully communicate but he can get his point across.  He is growing into such a little boy!!
**When Ryder needs a drink he yells "Hey!" and then does sign language for drink.  I am not sure that is how baby signing is supposed to work but it works for us!
**He can now say Cooper but it sounds like "Pooper!"
**Today was one of the most sincere moments I may ever see raising boys.  Ryder was just waking up from his nap and quickly ran down the hall in a sleepy stupor towards Cooper's room.  Ryder didn't realize that Cooper was on the couch and when Ryder came out of Cooper's room he yells "Pooper!" with a puzzled look on his face.  I tell him Cooper is napping on the couch and he smiles from ear to ear.  He then goes over to Cooper and lays his head on Cooper's head and rubs Cooper's cheek.  They may not always get along but they love each other!!
**Ryder also mimics every move Cooper makes.  This is not always a good thing but it is still cute at 18 months.

Cooper
His imagination and memory amaze me!!  A normal afternoon he can be many things--a semi truck driver, a fireman, a superhero or a football player.  Today was his last day of Preschool in Ashland.  He had a great year!  I am so proud of the little boy he has become.
**Cooper is into doing magic lately.  As he performs his tricks he repeats the magic words--"Abra-Nebraska!"  Then bows and we clap.  So cute!!
**He brought home his All About Me poster and we now know that he is going to be a bull rider when he grows up!!  This will not be easy on his Mama!!
Last day of Preschool in Ashland at Rainbows Connection.  May 2012
Quite the smile from Ryder!!
